Day 5....The last day of week 1.

Ahhhh we made it!  I am so please with a successful first week!  No major injuries....a lovely black eye and a few bloody noses.  Not bad.  I'm pretty sure the kids had a great time!  I know Ms. Flores and I did as well.  I would like to thank the parents for all of their positive support and encouragement it means so much!  Thanks!!

EVERYBODY LOVES BUBBLES, SOFTBALL, & WATER!
Today we got to play with giant bubble wands and make giant bubbles!  They were so much fun and quite the challenge.  We might need to tweak the bubble recipe just a little bit more.  The campers also made their own bubble wands out of pipe cleaners.  We switched up our schedule a little bit and went to the computer lab early.  We then went out for a game of softball!  Mr Galvez was kind enough to join us and be the pitcher.  He also hung out afterwards and was more than happy to squirt the kids while they were on the slip and slide.

SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE!  OH SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE!  SHAKE YOUR ICE CREAM!
Our adventure continued with making our own ice cream in a bag.  It took about 5 minutes of shaking  a bag full of ice and the ice cream mixture, but we added our own song and dance to make it go by faster.  Although, I think I did most of the shaking.  I would say most of the kids liked it.  A few campers got salt on their spoons so it was a little salty.  The best thing of all......it was sugar free!!!

Thank you again for an awesome first week at St Andrew Catholic School Summer Camp!

Love,
Ms. Earhart

PS I wil add more Friday photos later.  I left my camera at school over the weekend.
